First beer I have had from this Calgary brewery - good start.
Pours a pale orange/peach juice thick hazy - little dirty tinge - always a little put off by the brown floaty that sinks to the bottom of my Spiegelau IPA glass.
There ends any complaints - juicy tropical aroma - pineapple, papaya, ripe orange, tiny hint of hoppy pine.
Taste follows - sweet tropical juice, orange, fruity hops with mild bitterness on the back of bready malts.
Creamy smooth medium full mouthfeel - exceptionally easy to drink with lingering tropical fruit. Excellent NEIPA - separates from my major issue with the style - many seem the same.

On the bottom of the can it says "Hazey Boi"
Appearance - Pours a hazy apricot with three fingers of frothy white head that leaves some pleasant looking lace on the glass.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, apricot, pineapple, citrus and orange peel, other tropical fruits (mango and guava perhaps), bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold citrus and tropical hops upfront. It then goes quickly into the bold flavours of apricot, pineapple, citrus and orange peel, and other tropical fruits (mango, and guava). The brew finishes off with the bready malts and earthy yeast.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sitcky with the bold citrus and tropical hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - This version of Sky Rocket takes the tropical fruits to a whole new level. This one is dangerously sessionable considering it's 7.2%. This is by far the best of the Sky Rocket series. A true gem of a New England IPA.
