A - Pours out a dark burgundy, semi-transparent with a thin pinkish white head, fading quickly to nothing. No lacing.
S - You can pick up the vanilla with just a bit of blackberry fruit, and more general lactic-like acidity.
T - Open is berry fruitiness in the front, with the vanilla coming in a bit in the middle, along with a thin cranberry juice aspect joining the acidity in the close.
M - Moderate weight, decent carbonation, and tart finish. Solid.
O - A very nice ale, with solid flavor, highly drinkable. Glad I picked one up.

Blackberry Sour with Vanilla
Appearance - Pours a cloudy rhubarb with two fingers of fizzy pink head that fades quickly.
Smell - blackberry and raspberry, vanilla, spicy earthy and leafy hops, biscuity malts, and spicy earthy yeast.
Taste - tart blackberry, vanilla, and saltiness upfront. The spicy earthy and leafy hops come through next. The biscuity malts and spicy earthy yeast round out the brew but it is the tart blackberry that is the star of the show.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes tart with the blackberry and vanilla lingering.
Overall - A superb sour that displays the flavour of blackberry very well. I like how this brew isn't too tart. The Establishment continues to impress and release excellent quality brews!
