Appearance - Pours a dark chestnut brown with three fingers of chesnut head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, herbal saaz hops, chocolate, roasted malts, dark fruits (raisin, plum, fig), and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, and herbal saaz hops upfront then quickly goes into the chocolate and roasted malts. The dark fruits (raisin, plum, fig), and earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth and roasty.
Overall - A very easy drinking brew that has a pleasant flavour profile. Worth seeking out for those that are curious.
