Loaded with classic American hops known to bring the citrus with a snap of fresh sap for a flattering, on-the-nose representation of everything you love about the rugged, outdoorsy West Coast itself. This beer’s bitterness is balanced and thoroughly thirst-quenching.

Crystal clear amber-bronze pour with finger plus of just ever so slightly off white head.
Nose is piney and dank - weedy, floral, hint of citrus with bready, grainy malt.
Taste hits with pine resin, citrus oil, floral and weedy hops with a moderate herbal bitterness, but with a balancing bready malt sweetness.
Clean medium full mouthfeel with decent carbonation - resinous, sticky and just a bit of a boozy finish. Really well done West Coast IPA.

2,000th review!

Poured from a growler purchased at Collective and sampled next to a can.

Appearance - Pours a golden copper with three fingers of frothy white head.

Smell - floral, piney, earthy, citrus, leafy, and weedy hops, pine resin, citrus and grapefruit peel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.

Taste - bitter floral, piney, earthy, citrus, leafy, and weedy hops upfront. The pungent pine resin comes through next alongside the citrus and grapefruit peel. The bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast round out the brew. The bitterness is balanced by the other elements of the brew.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky and smooth with the pine resin and grapefruit peel lingering.

Overall - A pleasant West Coast IPA that is quite sessionable considering the ABV. This brew not only displays the bitter side of a true West Coast IPA but also displays pleasant balance as well. A pleasant treat to have on tap.
