If this beer went by a human name, it would be Nelson. We selected three distinct lots of @freestylehops Nelson Sauvin from the Sunrise Valley region with their own unique characteristics to provide a decidedly Nelson Sauvin experience that brings forth bright mango and berry, that mainly can be described as “Tropical AF”. Then, to punch up the colour spectrum, we threw some experimental Mosaic extract from @yakimachief in the pot to layer in some sweet'n dank reefer notes.

Canned June 20, 2024.
Highly rated on Untappd so against my better judgment I picked up a single of this imperial hazy; and no it is not bad, but it is the rare hazy I really find remarkable - and it is not that.
Pours a milky hazy pale yellow golden with a finger plus of creamy white head.
Nose is tropical but also leafy and floral - some citrus and mango notes - lime and geraniums.
Tastes of tropical fruit, citrus - lime, grapefruit peel - some berry notes; leafy, weedy and a bit dank and at the back there is a hit of hop burn.
Creamy medium full mouthfeel but then giving way to a drying bittersweet, slightly astringent finish.
I am sure this is well made but just the type of hazy that is likely not my thing. (And yes in my world, 3.8 ish is not a beer I would really want again, aware that rating beer is subjective and often meaningless to anybody but yourself).

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
