Though oft under-appreciated in North America, there’s centuries of German history that attest to Rauchbier as a timeless classic. The delicate yet striking aroma of beachwood smoke effortlessly flows into deep notes of caramelized sugar and grilled rye when sipped. Your palate will savour the journey, and one last malt-forward beer for the change of seasons.

16 oz can - packaged March 11, 2025.
Pours a deep mahogany colour with a finger or so of fine bubbly tawny coloured head; moderate lacing.
Aroma is bready, toasty with a good hit of caramel and a distinct but not overpowering smokiness - some hints of dark fruit. Smoke builds a bit.
Taste is sweet and malty - toasty, caramel malt, smoky with some soft hints of smoked meat - the smokiness soaks in through the pint.
Solid medium mouthfeel with nice carbonation and a silky smooth smoky sweet finish. Very well done.
