BBA Imperial stout (Willet Bourbon blend) with Ugandan and Mexican vanilla beans.
Two types of whole vanilla beans (Ugandan and Mexican) creating a creamier mouthfeel and more of a pastry vibe than our non-adjuncted blends. This is a new Imperial Stout recipe that was boiled overnight (a total of 27 hours actually, across two batches!), and a blend of only Willet Bourbon Barrel-Aged beers. Four Willet barrels, each with a unique character, over 10 months of aging time.

Expensive little 12 ounce can - shared two ways.
Pours a motor oil thick black with a tiny rim of reddish brown "head" - sticky lacing.
Aroma of chocolate, a load of vanilla, dark fruits, a hint of spice, and oaky bourbon.
Chocolate, fudgey, strong vanilla on the palate, dark fruit sweetness - plum, some date - slight roasty bitterness pushes back against the sweetness at the finish. Bourbon heat.
Rich, thick and warming full mouthfeel with a lingering chocolatey boozy sweetness.
Delicious but 6 ounces just about right.
