Canned on 6/22/2020. Poured into a pint glass. It pours an opaque, golden lemon color with a half finger of creamy, egg-white colored head and a thin sheen of lacing. The smell features pineapple, tangerine, melon, and subdued floral hops. The initial taste is dominated by tart lemon and grapefruit, with hints of honeydew and pineapple. But behind the fruit there are earthy, herbal notes from the Mosaic and Cascade hops. I'm not tasting the advertised tropical fruit but that may result from being almost 5 weeks in the can. Nonetheless, it's flavorful and refreshing and finishes with welcome bitterness. This ale is medium-bodied and well-carbonated and drinks easily at 6.5% ABV. Overall, COHO has brewed a solid New England IPA. I'm guessing that there would be more tropical fruit sweetness if the can were fresher. The brewery should continue to brew and can Hazeas Corpus. I'll definitely try it again.
