Dark brown but light passes easily through the center of the glass. Small head without the lasting bubbles. Nearly no lace.
Watery coffee aroma like the standard dry stouts from Ireland.
Thinner body (again like the Irish cousins) with a like lighter carbonation level (no nitrogen). The flavor is spot on with darker chocolate and lighter coffee prevailing. The aftertaste is shorter than most dry stouts but still has the typical burnt black patent malt bite.
