Produces a great two finger thick head, which sticks around for a good bit. The body is crystal clear, lots of CO2 action, and is copper in color.
Tobacco and metallic hops fragrance.
The taste is sweet, but slightly burnt bread. There is a touch of honey, and kind of finishes in an herbal/tobacco kind of way.
Prickly with carbonation in the mouth feel, as well as a mild warming effect in the end.

Poured a big foamy yellowish-white colored head that fizzed to a thin film. Still, transparent golden beer. Slightly sweet grainy aroma with dash of spicy hops. Lightly sweet malt is a bit grainy tasting. Grainy flavor picks up towards the end, and is joined some earthy/spicy flavors and a mild bite from the hops. Not very crisp. Low carbonation gives it an almost watery mouthfeel. A slightly sweeter and more grainy Helles. There is something lacking in this beer in general, and the flavor just kills it for me. Not a drain pour, but not very enjoyable either.

BB 11-10-07. Nice and quiet well lasting white head and deep golden light amber clear beer. Nose is of good Maerzen with lots of malts and fruityness of yeast and spicy hops. Taste is strong but missing IMO some body. Not exactly as expected by nose. Well bittered though and overall certainly not bad. Well carbonated but overall nnbalanced mouthfeel due to dryness of the brew. Still an enjoyable and one that runs down quiet easy for it's 6.0% ABV.
