0,5L bottle dated best by 04.10.24. Not a horrible beer but I should have looked at the average here on BA before buying a bottle (although it was less than €1). Not quite a Helles, not quite a Keller/Zwickel. A bit tart and citrusy, which could be due to the Kräusen treatment, adding a bit of funk. A unique beer no doubt. Not as bad as the average, and while happy to try it, not a beer to buy again. Tasty nonetheless.

500ml bottle poured into a 0.5l stein.
Look: Mildly opaque hazy light straw colour with a good sized loose white foam head that hangs around, slowly disappearing, leaving a nice white top.
Smell: Really not much going on at all. Getting a very slight malt note.
Taste: Malt with a very slight sweetness.
Feel: Medium body with a medium/high carbonation.
Overall: An easy drinker for sure. Pleasant enough.

From the half liter bottle, it pours a slightly hazy light yellow color with a modest white head that eventually diminishes to a thin layer. The nose gets a light scent of grains. The mouth gets alight pleasant taste of malt with a light zing of hops and yeast.

A: Pale golden, slightly hazy, small head which disappeared fairly quickly without leaving much lacing.
S: Faint malt, didn't have much of an aroma.
T: Malt forward, somewhere between sweet and sharp, hints of cooking apples.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, went down well.
O: Fairly simple easy drinker, not complex but enjoyable on a warm day.
