Our Red is a smooth,malt-centred ale with a hint of caramel. The Wright House was a Georgetown landmark from 1913-2003. Warm meals and many a refreshing beer welcomed train travellers and locals alike. It was a well-known fact that you did not mess with Mr. Wright. Local legend has it he once removed 6 unruly patrons single-handedly! With our Red Ale, we strive to pay the same respect to the Wright House as it earned from the community back in the day.

Clear copper under a full cap. Just a wee bit of spotty lace. Slightly grassy nose. A bit of malt to taste, thin bodied, Blandly sweet to drink, slightly bitter to finish. Pretty ordinary stuff. Meh.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for about $3.25 CDN. One of a couple new offerings from the Furnace Room available in the LCBO. Listed at 4.8% ABV. Packaged July 28, 2020.
Appearance - Somewhat hazy coppery red colored brew with a small finger of white head that dissipates quickly.
Smell - Slightly metallic with notes of caramel backing things up. Sweet corn backing up the caramel.
Taste - Very mild grain and caramel notes, not a lot else, rather watery.
Mouthfeel - Medium- light in body, carbonation is middling, finish is wet.
Overall - Lacking a bit especially compared with a couple of their other offerings, but even still a serviceable red. Enjoyed Dynamo more though for sure.

Pours rust coloured with a minimal head atop. Smell is a bit sweet and metallic. The taste has a slight smoke taste with notes of rye grain and hops. A decent Red Ale
