Copenhagen 2/5 2019. 44 cl can from Voldby Købmandsgård (web-shop). Simple can design in blue with squares with the name of the beer, the type and the name of the brewery. A hop cone as motif.
Pours slightly unclear golden amber with a big white head. Settles as thin but frothy layer of foam clinging to the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is quite subdued for a IPA. Caramel, Bubblegum, light odor of exotic fruits. Medium strong citric notes.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Weak nose and a bit watery. but with nice bitter, dry bite.
