I'm going to guess that this was the hoppy blonde beer they advertised on a sign in the brewery - I didn't catch the name when I ordered it as part of my flight as the bartender just said "we have a blonde ale" and I said okay. So this might not be the actual beer I sampled, but it was pretty decent nonetheless. I've had their base blonde ale, which this might have been, and it was also solid. Maybe they just changed the name to reflect current trends? In any case, I liked it.

Canned March 29th. From Beer Drop.
Pours a hazy pale gold, small head of foam, some lacing.
Smells hoppy. Grapefruit citrus, hint of pine, some tropical fruit, and a bit of sweetness. I reckon that's left over from the original beer.
Grapefruit, orange peel, only a minor hint of tropical fruit. Sweet notes are honey like. Pretty smooth and good tasting.
Okay mouthfeel.
Interesting but would not be a regular in my rotation if it was available locally.
