Had on tap at the 38th and Tennyson Brewery.
On arrival a 1.5 finger bone white fine head was present that quickly became rocky and receded to a thin cap. The body is a straw gold with a good amount of lazy carbonation.
Aroma reminds me of Tivoli Outlaw a bit but with more yeast present. A bit corny and sweet, like a sweet corn puff a bit. Some lager funk/bite is present, could be cleaner, but pretty decent.
Taste is very similar to the aroma with that sweet corn puff graininess still being present. A light bittering hop addition balances this one out but stays malt driven. Not the sweetest malt, but there is a bit in there . Very corny.
Feel is light and chuggable with an overall drying mouthfeel, but a surprisingly long and pleasant finish for the style. Very refreshing and pretty crisp, especially on the finish.
Overall it's a craft light beer. They tend to lean on corn but are higher quality than macro versions of the style. Certainly not watery like a coors, but it's light and drinkable, with some familiar cheapish yeast notes.
