Pours a clean copper color with a bit of fog to the transparency. Head is a finger of off-white foam. Aroma is fig, toffee, raisins, caramel, and bready, and mild nutty and earthy malts. Big, but not boozy. Flavor profile continues the narrative set by the nose, delivering fig, toffee, raisins, and bready & earthy malts. Flavor profile features a little hop stickiness courtesy of a resin note. This help the profile taste a little more expansive and big, but still lacks the oomph of a big barleywine. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a fuzzy texture. It's near filling. Overall, a big sticky beer with some quality notes along the way.
