terrible name, pretty decent beer, they call it a table beer, which usually in my experience has been low alcohol saison or belgian ale of some kind, this is more of a simple pale type, almost an english mild or something in its malt bill, clean and simple stuff, fresh on the malt side, and one of their better beers overall i thought here, drinkable and flavorful and probably appealing to just about anyone who likes beer at all. i like the dry, lightly toasted english sort of malt profile this has, its flavorful and easy at the same time, and they did a good job with the fermentation here, which is real clean and out of the way, a light hopping for balance is all thats needed as well, very tidy execution and a very balanced recipe. this is drinking beer, a lot of them are in here, subtle almond, coffee cake, and citrus, nice carbonation and more body than expected in a session beer like this. a hard one to put into a category, which i guess is a good thing with so much samey beer out there. not exactly boring, but like subtle and kind of minimal. it might be enhanced with food though, and this could reasonably be paired with just about anything. i appreciate the effort here, nice work.
