Picked up a can of this the day after the Bistro's double ipa festival. Acquired at Berkeley Bowl. I like the can logo. Even though its six months later, I just added this beer to the database and will go ahead and write a review for it as well, because I'm not some sociopath who just adds a beer without reviewing it (usually).
Pours an amber color. Just looks straight up like an amber ale with good quality clarity to it. 6/13" off white head. The aroma has that amber bright fall leaves nuttiness similar to an oktoberfest marzen kind of beer. Its not quite leather bound books, but there is a light fruity musty nutty aspect to it.
Taste is a good sipper even if its counterintuitive to sip a session strength beer. Light caramel meets red apple quality to it alongside a pack of Marlboro reds. Drinks much lighter than its appearance. This ain't no heavy viscosity syrup amber malt bog. Its a pretty nice little change of pace. Well done.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
