Very dark brown color with a thin head with short retention.
Predominant aroma with notes of chocolate, mild caramel on prunes and cola.
Flavor with notes of cola, cocoa, dark chocolate, piney and citrusy hops, some coffee, almonds and spices. Dry and Bitter aftertaste.
Light to medium body with mild carbonation. Hard to believe this is really 8.3% abv, especially considering its thinner body. I bet it isn’t.
An Imperial Stout with great drinkability and lower complexity with focus on dark chocolate notes balanced by piney hops. Not a kick-ass RIS, but sure pleasant to drink.
