13 oz tulip glass pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Pours a foamy, turbid, melted-soft soft purple. Weird-looking for sure. I think if I had allowed it to settle before drinking the liquid level would have dropped significantly. Aroma and flavor feature slightly tart raspberry soft serve with a hint of chocolate. It's actually quite good, better than I was expecting. Not cloying or too heavy on the chocolate or vanilla. Not exactly beer, either, but I knew that going in. The mouthfeel is kind of syrupy and not very carbonated, but it's a weird beer overall and the mouthfeel at least doesn't ruin the experience. Overall I give it high marks for successfully accomplishing the telos of this "beer."

Challenging what Berlinerweisse can be, the normally bracingly sour, bone dry sour wheat flavor Skygazer is turning the style into something richer, fruitier, more complex and creamier. While some will say they push the style too far, no one can deny that this raspberry, cherry and chocolate beer is quite tasty

Pouring truly matte with mauve, the fruitiness of the Watercolors Swirlee series is obviously chocked full of berry and stone fruit, and its all evident in its appearance. A richer scent of berry, cherry, citrus and wine create an extremely juicy scent with a suggestions of tartness that brings a vinous character to the nose. Even richer rich to taste, the first sip and is thick and jammy with malt sweetness, cereal, cream candy and taffy.

Racy with underpinnings of lime, lemon, cider and gooseberry from the ale underneath, the raspberry flavors couple with cherry for a bold but succulent dark fruit blend. Early tartness is balance by a creamy counterpart of vanilla and heavy cream before eventually allowing the taste to turn to return to tartness. With an acidic twinge to a fruit punchi, sherbet and smoothie, the late taste is tart, rife with fruit and cereal riddled.

Full bodied for sour ale, the fruited sour ale departs from the crisp, dry and refreshing taste of traditional Berlinerweiss and turns it into something all together different- a full flavored fruit beer with sourness for a radiant full fruit finish and a linger of peppery sourness.
