Pours a dark cola color and settles black in the glass with a rich, creamy dark tan head that provides a surprising amount of lacing. Beautiful beer. The nose features the caramel advertised on the label, and an ice roasty note that leans to coconut, and some rich cocoa for good measure.
The taste is led by a dollop of caramel, a nice rich milk chocolate flavor, a robust roasty flavor with a mingling of coconut - and stone fruit, in the form of dark cherries. That was unexpected and most welcome. Absolutely delicious stuff here.
The mouthfeel is rich and creamy, amplifying the flavors. This is a delicious pastry stout, IMHO, one I’d revisit again and again.

Single can from Party Source.
Pitch black, no light penetration. Had to give it a special pour to produce a dense mocha head, good retention.
Faint caramel aroma.
Very sweet character with notes of vanilla, toffee and coconut.
Big body with a creamy, Oil-like feel.

Minor head production; retention is ok given the scant production.
Aroma is sub-par - not exactly bad, but below average. The caramel is hardly noticeable, the coconut non-existent. Most annoying is that the only truly prominent note is prune; not by itself odd for a stout, but hardly what I want as the only thing I can clearly and consistently pick up.
Flavor is quite redeeming. Nice notes of chocolate, toffee, and coffee, along with plenty of caramel and coconut, with an especially nutty back third.
Mouthfeel is exceptional. Thick and creamy, with a bit of sting from the high ABV. Despite the boozy effervescence, it finishes only semi-dry, allowing the coconut to really linger.
This isn't a beer that presents itself well, but it finds redemption where it matters most: on the palate.

With the promise of coconut and caramel front and center, the anticipation of girl's scout cookies somoas leaves the bar quite high. Let's see if Skygazer brewers can deliver on the lofty promises.
Pouring very dark and mocha brown, Floofer 3 carries a rich viscosity as the beer slowly nestles inside the snifter. With a dessert-like savory sweetness at its scent, the beer's caramel, toffee, brown sugar and pulled candy character invites more soothing aromas of vanilla and coconut. Focusing on sweeter malts, the sweet tooth is awaken with a splash of those caramel, cream, honey, toffee and nougat flavors as advertised.
The stout flavors that support all that sweetness does show its roasty, toasty and nutty edges as the dark beer unfolds on the middle palate. Coffee is met with cream, caramel and supporting maple maltiness for a suggestion of macchiato heading into the late palate. Nougat gives way to light bitterness for a tepid balance late in taste.
Full, creamy and pleasantly cloying, Floofer isn't for the timid. You've got to have a propensity for sweetness to fully enjoy this relatively one-dimensionally sweet stout. A long linger of brownie batter eventually rolls in the coconut influences for a kiss of bourbon in a long, soft afterglow.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that left a narrow collar of dark tan bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of caramel and coconut are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of chocolate along with notes of caramel and coconut, the latter of which stand out in particular in the finish.
M: It feels full-bodied, smooth and slick on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has an incredible silky smooth mouthfeel and hides any traces of alcohol very well from the taste. It would have been nicer if the flavors of coconut and caramel were a bit more pronounced.
