Tastes exactly how I imagined an oat milk with citra and galaxy hops beer would taste. It’s hazy, tons of light malts and a citrus rainbow slightly bitter hip finish.

With all the iffy IPA and DIPAs I’ve tasted lately, this beer is a winner.
Very smooth with lots of citrus and tropical fruit notes.

A: The beer is very hazy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberry are present in the nose along with hints of lychee.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of lime. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The aromas and flavors of Citra hops really stand out in the smell and taste of this beer.
Serving type: can

Bringing a creamy and candied sense of wonderment to an IPA, Skygazer Brewing employs the use of oat milk to soothe the flavors of the seemingly God sent Citra and Galaxy hopped IPA.
Angel Colony pours with the commonly turbid pour of golden and peach with a matte taupe finish against the glass. Creamy in its froth that forms, the ale leads with a strong citronella bouquet of tropical fruit, citrus, stone fruit and with a pep of herb and botanicals. Deliciously smooth, the taste starts with toasted cereal, vanilla, coconut and pastry dough.
As the hops blossom on the middle palate, they soon gain command of balance with tangerine, mango and apricot with hints of peach and papaya closing in. Red grapefruit, lemon and lime can be sensed as the hop's nuances pull through the persistent grain sweetness. Trending smoothly but firmly bitter, the late taste takes a slightly drying track with verbena, peppery grasses, fresh spruce and sun tea.
Medium full on the palate, the beer finishes malty-dry and with an elevated, but not strong, bitterness. A medium length linger of peppery hop bitterness carries a dank hemp and floral perfume that can only be described as angelic.

Fantastic head production, retention, and lacing. Body is completely opaque and murky, and a dark lemon yellow hue.
Super aromatic aroma. Each whiff reveals something different: sharp citrus, bright green herbs, or lush tropical fruit. Notes of guava, peach, mango, pineapple, orange, lemon, papaya, melon, grapefruit, and honeysuckle.
Creamy and smooth on the palate. Less expressive than the nose, perhaps, but that's a nearly unreachable bar. It's almost as though all of the same fruity notes are present, but muted. It also lacks most of the sharpness of the nose, with little of the green herbs or citrus coming through. This has the dual effect of making the beer less balanced and complex in terms of hop notes, but impressively smooth and juicy - no doubt amplified by the huge pale malt base and high ABV.
This is the kind of IIPA people go nuts for when it's made by Finback or Other Half. Honestly, it's on that level, too. It lacks a certain pop that keeps it from Tree House status, but it's the next category down.
