another one of the twelve percent not real breweries hitting the market here, this feels more like marketing than any kind of liquid art, and its frustrating that these are getting kind of derivative, especially at the prices they are fetching. this is better than expected, although not much like a berliner at all. its deep purple like the can, thick and gloopy even at the top, downright smoothie textured at the bottom, with some visible particulate on the edges of the glass after each sip. smells kind of like yogurt in the ferment, lactic and a little cheesy, with some real sweetness from the blueberries and a melted popsicle or ice cream vibe overall, thankfully the vanilla seems pretty well restrained. the flavor is decent too, cant complain, the vanilla enhances the berries in a nice way, seems natural enough, intense as it all is, the milk sugar doesnt take over or make this diabetic, and the thickness isnt awful really, its a style now, and its done just fine here, until the very bottom, consider this a twelve ounce can instead of a pint and you will miss the worst of it. it doesnt present all that sweet which i appreciate, and despite being somewhat of a gimmick to me in every way, it tastes pretty good. i am in no hurry to try more of their stuff, but ill circle back with them at some point for sure. better than others in this space, but we must ask ourselves as beer drinkers, do we really need more of these "breweries" and beers?

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
