A West Coast inspired double India Pale Ale.
"This double IPA is bursting with notes of tropical pine, and citrus. Backed by a dry-finish, you'll swear your(sic) seeing double."

Shockingly dark brew, the color of ros`e on the pour, and dark caramel in the glass. Uninspiring thin and fizzy head, although eventually a reasonable one finger of head emerges. Uneven foam, clingy lacing, and nice retention. Nice clarity, nearly transparent despite the dark color.
At first I was greeted with some banana and citrus on the nose; not what I was looking for, but vastly greater than what quickly followed, which is the unmistakably strong note of diacetyl. There's no getting around it, and it easily drowns out the pine and citrus lurking in the background along with caramel and pale grains.
There's an impression of citrus, pine, caramel grain, and strong West Coast IPA-style bitterness .... but it is drowned out by the diacetyl. Even holding my breath, I cannot make it through a complete sip.
Lively, but with a surprising creaminess and silkiness that is off-putting.
I'm very sorry to be the first reviewer for this brewery, of any of their beers. They may have some great stuff (for all I know), and maybe their offerings are much better on tap. As local brewery, brand new to me, I was excited going into this bottle, but the diacetyl made it an absolute drain pour for me.
