Bottom of can is stamped 4/6/2023. I'm going to assume that means it was canned on the same date this year. Anyway, a low alcohol Pacific Kellerbier with amarillo and comet hops and kolsch yeast.
I'm doing a dry month this July as the mid-summer heat and subsequent dehydration alone are just barely tolerable without throwing a hangover on top of it. Not that I'm hungover terribly often these days, but even the mildest symptoms seem to get magnified this time of year. Anyway, this pours a pale almost orange color with quickly receding head. It looks like a beer. I smell hops popping outta the glass, but then as I edge my sniffer closer I get that now-familiar near-beer scent. You know what I mean (unless you don't); that sorta doughy scent. Also smells a bit of cardboard if I'm being honest. Yikes - this one smells better from afar. Odd, odd flavor profile. Freeze dried scallion (I think it's the hops?) and a lingering honey on the back end. Not my favorite. Finishes bitter, but is perfectly crisp and chuggable. So it has that going for it, at least.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
