This is our classic, super-dry imperial IPA with a slightly hazy flare. We used our hazy IPA yeast from Mere Tenacity to give our flagship IPA something interesting.

One of the better offerings from Autumn Arch. I can definitely see how this quickly became their signature. 16oz can from the Brewery dated 7/10, making it barely over a week old at time of consumption. Poured into a beer advocate spiegelau.
L: Bright burnt orange with a slight haze obfuscating the other side of the glass. Small head with good lacing and minor retention.
S: Smells like a basket of freshly picked fruits. Hints of berry, apple, kiwi, mango and pineapple come to mind. There are some grassy hop notes towards the end of each whiff and an alcohol bite is present. Well executed.
T: Pungent hop flavors with hints of fruits following through. Much hoppier and bitter than the nose would lead you to expect. There is a very dank hop flavor that dominates the palate, but in a good way, and is reminiscent of IPAs with hemp additions. Finishes dry but with a strong bitterness that lingers for a while. Some might consider the bitterness cloying, but if you're looking for a mighty bitter and more traditional DIPA you will most likely enjoy it.
F: Crisp and dry. Doesn't stick to the tongue as much as I'd prefer for a beer this better but it's not overly thin either. Well carbonated and dances on the tongue slightly.
O: I'm a fan. To me, it feels like a combination between a dry brut IPA and a very dank hop-forward IPA with hemp additions. As someone who likes the dank taste of hemp and hops, and enjoys bitter IPAs, this is a keeper. If you are more of a low IBU New England fan, this might not be for you.
