The Norwegian Kveik (pronounced kwike) yeast strain is quickly becoming a house favorite. It worked great in the All Together Hazy IPA so we tried it in a classic West Coast IPA. Finngail has complex citrus fruit character with grapefruit and pineapple notes to compliment the bitterness from Idaho Gem hops and aroma from the Citra hops.
The name Finngail loosely translates to Pale Foreigner, the name given to old Viking visitors in Ireland.
