This is a hat tip to our opening day menu six years ago that headlined a saison - an uncommon and often overlooked style indeed. This Belgian-French ale was the working class beer of the middle ages. Phenolic and estery aromas of sweet orange peel, black pepper, and a hint of clove wrapped into a hazy and golden body. Straight down the middle and true to style
