really unique spot here, in an old train depot or something, they even have the rail car out front, but its been beautifully restored and extended, the brewery and taproom space on one half of the building, and a really impressive looking steakhouse operation on the other, they appear to be related businesses with traffic flowing freely between them. they have a nice patio space out front, an open feel inside, with an open kitchen in the center of the place and a lively taproom off to the right. i sat at the long two sided bar and admired the shiny tanks fully on display behind the taps, bustling but still low key in here. it all appears to be very well run, a hostess or two, lots of bussers flying around, a bartender, lots of servers, its happening but well managed. a little classier than most spots, but no as stuffy as a steakhouse, at least on the brewery side. i was impressed with the beer selection, maybe like fifteen beers on, a lot for a little spot like this, and a good mix of lagers and hoppy stuff, even some heady guest beer selections, mostly in styles they dont make like sours, well curated and thoughtful. i was pleased with a simple corn lager, enjoyed but was not blown away by their centennial wet hop, and i also quite liked their weizenbock, a little darker than many but real tasty for this time of year. cool menu diversity. on the food side everything looked great but i didnt eat, they have a bar menu and a steakhouse menu, both available at the bar which is cool, and it looked pretty professional from what i could see, i will certainly make time for a meal when i am back next! this place is great overall, friendly and well trained staff, some competence in the brew house, and good vibes in a cool historic building. not to be missed if you are seeking beer in this part of the world!

Stopped by this new to me brewpub today.
Was told they just opened in October 2018. Located in the Depot building on 2nd avenue, the place has something of an applebees look and vibe, albeit on a somewhat smaller scale. They have a small bar area with 6 seats or so, as you walk into the pub. They have a single tv on the back wall, typically turned to sport events.
So, the beer. This day they had 14 of their own beers on tap, and then 7 guest beers, including coors light. Looked like they also had around 10 bottled craft beers and imports as well.
Quality seemed to be pretty good, based on the sampler tray I ordered (5 five ounce pours for $12). Really liked the Bavarian style wheat, and thought the pils was solid as well. The pale ale was also pretty good, and I thought the IPA's were decent. They serve most beers in either 12 ounce, 16 ounce or 20 ounce format. Expect to pay between $5.5 and $6 for a 16 ounce pint here.
Service was pretty good I thought. It wasn't too crowded, so my beer came quickly, and the wait staff seemed friendly and engaging.
Didn't try the food, but what I saw looked pretty good. Burgers, flatbreads and the like seemed to be what you should expect.
Nothing was earth shattering about my visit, but the beers were pretty good and I liked the vibe. Would come here again.
