I guess I might have hit them on an off day (Thursday). The place has a rustic vibe but has not been well maintained and it shows. The beer selection was limited, the to go selection was almost non-existent and the crowler machine was non-functional and soon to be discontinued. Most of the seating is on picnic benches outside. There is a nice stage for entertainment (there was none) and they supposedly have food trucks on the weekend. meh

Been spacing on writing up this review of a pretty cool brewery in CT. Met up with a friend from my old job at the brewery for a few beers and to catch up.
Brewery is kind of in the middle of no where, but is actually easy to find too. Nice open area around the main building which is an old refurbished barn. Plenty of parking on a gravel lot on the property.
They had 7 or 8 house beers plus a guest cider on tap. Styles ranged a bit from a pale ale, a shandy and some IPAs plus an imperial stout. Cans available to go of some brews and crowler fills for anything not already in cans in a cooler next to the bar. Inside the brewery there is a short counter to the right of the door and some table and tall chair set ups along the wall with normal table chair sets in the center of the main room. Door in back opens to back yard with several more seating setups outside. Music by DJ on this day and a BBQ food truck available for eats.
Staff is very friendly and helpful and seem knowledgeable as they answered the questions I had about the styles on draft that day.
The 3 beers I tried were all pretty solid and price point was very good too. Id like to go back and will try to do so when some friends visit from out of town. Worth a visit if checking out some of CT finer breweries.

Taproom is on the bottom floor of a weathered barn building on a little knoll to the right of the parking area. Service counter is just inside the entry on the right and the remainder of the room has 2 rows of communal tables. There are a few benches outside and a half dozen picnic table in a grassy area to the left at the end of the parking lot. There was a small covered stage area and a folk singer, as well as, a food truck in this same area. Only 7 beers on tap, the 4 I tried were very nice, and I especially like the Juicy in the 860. Service was top-notch and very friendly. Great place to relax and have a beer out in nature.

Great small town brewery with a family vibe and good better selection. They have a food truck and music most weekends. It's a great place to kick back, relax, and enjoy an up and coming brewery.
