1st review of this on BA. I had this back in April in Vacaville, CA at the University of Beer. Twas on tap. Was watching a Sharks playoff game. Wondering if this has some jui jitsu crossover appeal to it. The valley is tough man.
Pours hazy and yellow to brass colored. Hazy, but not quite cloudy gravy territory. 1/2" white head. Aroma hit the usual good notes of citrus and tropical fruits in these proprietary hop wonderland times. Seemed easily like a Citra/Mosaic/Amarillo possibility going on, wouldn't doubt if 2 of those 3 were present.
Taste was relatively as expected, lots of hop flavors in that citrus and tropical fruit realm. Body was hazy but not a majority of flaked adjunct malt. Thankfully still kept a hearty bitterness present at all stages in that 50ibu pathway. Keep searching and you can find some stone fruit notes. Dust Bowl's beers keep getting better. Only mild sweetness, bitter bite still reigns supreme. Would recommend.
