Appearance: Pours with a bubble show with the cloudy yeast colored liquid supporting two fingers of ecru foam; spots of lacing
Smell: Papaya and blueberry with a toffee malt base
Taste: Toffee forward, with the blueberry tones prominent; some papaya and passion fruit build to offset; medicinal finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Didn't much care for this odd flavored IIPA

Look: Let’s face it, hazy IPA’s look like crap. Basically, it’s like unfiltered, canned, orange juice.
Smell: Not as tropical as some I’ve tried, I detect pineapple, orange, lemon, backed up by a noticeable sweet malt/brown sugar smell.
Taste: Lots of sweetness, orange rind, pineapple, it’s more semisweet though. There’s a slight burnt sugar flavor to it. The bitterness is very low and the abv is very well hidden.
I still prefer traditional IPA’s with the high IBU. This is a well made product and I rate things based on style rather than my personal preference.

Buck Hazy XX IPA. Very tasty. Much different than your typical hazy. Not much dank. Impressed!

Can poured into a Dust Bowl Brewing Co pint glass
A: Pours murky golden copper amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Big tropical fruit, juicy citrus, a little spicy pine, slightly toasty biscuity bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Tropical fruit takes the lead, lots of peach, mango, guava, and a hint of pineapple and passion fruit, some citrus, orange, lime, and lemon, spicy resinous pine, slightly toasty bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: A bit on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate, alcohol is very well hidden.
O: I was a little worried when I first saw it pour into the glass. That darker shade + haze isn't the most appealing, not to mention that it falls way outside the standard for hazy IPAs, so I began to question how well the ingredients would play together. I was wrong. This one is very well balanced, a sturdy malt backbone and some nice level of bitterness keep it from getting too sweet. There's something about how this hop combo comes together that makes it stand out from a lot of the other Citra and Mosaic bombs. Super drinkable hazy DIPA.
