An assist from Champagne yeast brings this massive IPA into the mega category. Citrus & tropical notes fade to the background behind big notes of stone fruit. Featuring Apollo, Amarillo, Citra and Mosaic hops.

A - Dark copper colored pour with nice clarity and an even layer of creamy white foam on top, carbonation is moderate and steady.
S - Citrus and pine with alcohol presence on the nose. Overall aroma is actually quite light.
T - Sweet malt, pine bitterness, very light citrus buried underneath and very alcohol forward (to be expected). A little bit of citrus does linger but it's very subtle.
M - Thick and syrupy with alcohol effervescence and heat.
O - The alcohol overpowers any character this beer might have. This will take you from "0 to sh*tted" in no time flat (if that's your thing).

A quite quirky beer. Pours and laces nicely with an unusual orang beer. Smell is has floral and hoppy notes, although the booziness is apparent in the smell too. Medium strong flavor in the front, but the hops come in the middle and the back. The biggest downside is how boozy it is--it feels more like a mixed drink than a beer. Cool idea to go all out on the heaviness but it needed better execution to overcome the abv.

wanted to like it more than i do... i like this super style but this one is just too hot for me to handle. canned 1/20/21 so thanks to my local monger for getting it to me quick.
L: drinking from the can. it's a nice looking can...
S: I like the nose on this one. melon, pineapple, sweet citrus.
T: sweet followed by sharp bitterness but the alcohol burn is off putting.
F: fine i guess although after a while it's hard to feel anything
O: wanted it to be better. swing and a miss, i'm afraid

Pours a clear dark amber with modest foam in the Crooked LIne tulip. Some prickly carbonation on the tongue, even as the head dissipates. Intense in every dimension, and the aroma is ripe with mango and alcohol fumes. Rather sweet, like a hop liqueur. Tastes of melon with Everclear.
Big citrus, mango, and candied pineapple flavors. Then a bitter but not unwelcome aftertaste. Hot with alcohol, no kidding, but not overly acidic. This is quite sippable, for rocket fuel. From the 16 oz can, and on the bottom is stamped "Canned on 01/03/20."
