A simple grain bill allows the BRU-1 & Azaca hops to shine with notes of Pineapple.

Poured from can to pint glass, REALLY hazy juicy gold pour with slight head. This was not just kinda hazy...hazy to a different level...to me. Awesome look. Not getting much on the nose, which is odd considering the haziness. Citrusy, tropical, orange flavors with a moderate hop tang and smooth mouth feel, does not hint at the 8+ abv. Pretty drinkable, not as 'in your face' as 'Dump Truck...' or 'Therapist' but quite good.

Can poured into a Dust Bowl Brewing Co pint glass
A: Pours slightly hazy golden orange amber with a frothy pale beige head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Spice jumps out first, some tropical and stone fruit, a hint of citrus, faintly toasty but big time bready malt and caramel sweetness,
T: Tropical and stone fruit, grilled pineapple, mango, peach, apricot, papaya, and a hint of guava, a fair bit of spice, a little citrus, candied orange and lemon, hints of banana, super bready slightly toasty malt, a little wheat twang, and rich caramel sweetness.
M: Full body, moderate carbonation, faintly creamy, kinda sticky/chewy.
O: I think there's just enough bitterness to keep it from getting too cloyingly sweet, but there's a kinda funky thing going on that remind me of pineapple upside down cake and banana bread. Not necessarily a bad beer by any means, just not what I was expecting.
