Clear yellow brew with plenty of foam in the chalice. Average spritz and light but flabby mouthfeel. Pleasant aroma of grain with a perfumey note, like a Kölsch. Then it's dull and more like Cheerios with a faint bit of astringency. This is the classic Blonde ale taste-- cereal and more cereal while you're waiting for the kiss of hops that never comes. Quite drinkable but of not much interest aside for the aromatics. From the 12 oz can purchased at the Dust Bowl tasting room in Monterey. Canned on 01/08/2024.
