Soul Crusher is the biggest, most complex beer that we have ever brewed. This giant, deep brown stock ale has an assertive, yet balancing bitterness and a complex malt presence with very subtle British hop influence. The addition of brown sugar adds another layer of complexity and a rum-like quality to the brew.

In a tulip glass at the taproom. Dark brown with little head. Sweet nose, sweet on first taste...brown sugar to me for sure. Strong alcohol but not a killer, and seems to develop a different character as it warms...still brown sugar but more, say, cognac-like. High powered sipping brew, not for lazy summer days.

From Tap into a Tulip
A- Dark mahogany body, 1/2" khaki head
S- Black licorice, plum, grapes, various dark fruits, dank, piny hops, booze
T- Follows the nose, with the addition of a nice roasted sweet malt backbone.
M- medium body, low carbonation
O- Overall a pretty nice brew. Though boozy, it's never overpowering, which shows it's quality considering the 13.7% abv. As it warms i find myself liking it more and more, which may have to do with the fact that i get more and more buzzed, but i find it grows more complex, and the aromas and flavors become more distinct. I really want another, it's dangerously drinkable, but i better not...
