Pours a dark amber. Thin foam. Maple aroma. Sweet maple, cinnamon and pumpkin spice body. Lightly sweet finish. Very consistent. Just the right amount of everything.

Consumed at the Talea brewpub in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Looks like a brown ale in the glass, with a modest light tan head. The beer was served way too cold and was almost tasteless at the start. As it warms, it brought out the spices and malt and became quite enjoyable. The pumpkin and spices provided warmth and comfort as all autumn ales should.

Malty caramel to brown but very clear with a white head. Lively carbonation both visually and in taste. Nice autumnal ale as the can describes it. Somewhat malty but also crisp, with a nice light mix of autumn spices and some pumpkin meat. The pumpkin fruit characteristic is somewhat more dominant here but it's overall a pleasant and low key beer to enjoy in the Fall.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a nice clear reddish amber color with a tiny head of fizzy white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is of a nice roasted pumpkin smell mixed with caramel and spice of cinnamon and nutmeg. Along with these smells comes a bit of earth and herb smells as well as some toast and a bit of oak.
Taste – The taste starts with a moderate sweet pumpkin and spice taste mixed with some caramel, brown sugar and toast. As the taste advances, the sweet fades a bit while the roast gets more pronounced. Toward the end a bit more cinnamon and nutmeg comes to the tongue leaving one with a moderately sweet and moderately toasty taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light with a carbonation level that is normal. Overall OK.
Overall – An OK pumpkin brew, but nothing to write home about.
