This one brings up thoughts of the old world. It's a combination of two pieces of history to create a funky fusion. Our first inspiration, was a braggot, one of the oldest styles of beers and made with large honey additions. Then we crossed that with a Belgian strong ale. These were big beers traditionally ramped up by sugar additions. With our access to lots of honey, we put 100 lbs of NY North Country local honey into our boil and let the Abbey style yeast show through with its funky notes. Taste it and see if you can see yourself in a smoky fire lit room of the past.
