This surprisingly easy to drink big stout spent time with Origin Coffee and cacao nibs after fermentation to build on the mocha flavor in its rich grain bill.

A tall, dense tan head billows over a deepest brown liquid, foam slow to fall, trailing smears and spatters of sticky lace.
The aroma is mild, sweet cocoa, coffee with cream with faint hints of wood fire.
Big dark chocolate flavor floods the mouth, sweet and bitter at the same time. Coffee and smoke notes lurk behind the rich choco-malt taste, hop and black grain bite sliding in at the end. I get more of a robust porter character and less roasted flavors but still a satisfying swallow of beer follows another.
Full bodied but maybe a bit cloying up front this has big stout-porter flavors with lasting hopped coffee aftertaste.

on draft at the brewery, served in tulip shaped glass
black in color, cream colored head. Pleasant espresso and dark cocoa flavors. Not sweet which is what I want in a coffee stout. medium to fuller bodied.

Had this on tap at the brewery! Pours a clean deep brown/black color with a light tan colored head that leaves a little lacing down the glass. Smells of deep roasted malts, great coffee flavor, hints of toffee and chocolate as well. Tastes as it smells, sweet malt base with a medium roasted coffee with hints of toffee and chocolate at the end. Super smooth feel, medium bodied, perfect amount of carbonation. Overall, excellent and worth the stop if you're in town.
