Cloudy hazy not really a NEIPA taste more like a session IPA. Taste is bland with no real definition. I typically only drink IPA but after one glass needed to switch to their stout.

From a 16 oz. can dated June 4, 2021. Sampled June 24, 2021.
The appearance is about what you would expect from a NEIPA with its cloudy, mostly hazy yellow color underneath a white foamy head.
Nice array of aromas from pineapple, orange, tangerine, and white bread.
Soft medium mouthfeel.
The taste is at first sweet but then the fruity bitterness kicks in and lingers on the palate at the end. It represents the NEIPA style well.

Having had dozens of these already, it's time to jot down a few notes. Pours a murky dark yellow with some nice white cap that laces well. Aroma is perhaps most important to me with this one, and one that has my high-performing olfactory sense constantly intrigued. On top of some tropical fruit notes is a dominant malt-ish essence that may still be attributed to the hop profile oddly. Regardless, the same continues in the flavor profile and I love it though cannot adequately describe it - similar to a bready malt backbone but different. Delicious and consistent.

Smell is tangerine, pineapple, guava, and very mild grapefruit. 4
Taste follows tangerine, pineapple, guava, and very balanced grapefruit. 4.25
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, sticky not dry, soft carbonation, and at 6% ABV goes down very easy. 4.25
Overall this is what he originally wanted, a very nice soft NEIPA that leaves you craving the next sip. 4

Not a bad IPA, but definitely not a NEIPA. The Lake Cruiser is more in the style of a NEIPA than this is.
