Pours a vary dark brown with a quick-fading cap that leaves barely a skim, great chestnut color tho. Aromas are the winner - lots of caramel and cooked sugar malty goodness on the nose. Flavors don't follow exactly, and has a touch more hop character than I would like to see from this style - unneeded as any bitterness should come from the malt roast. Finished a tad dry and less sweet than I would prefer, but plenty decent beer overall.
