The New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival has long been a proud tradition of splendor in our Granite State. This event has faced a slew of challenges over the last few years including riots, relocation, and cancellation due to the pandemic but has since found its new home in Laconia, NH. This year, our friends at @twinbarnsbrewingco honor this age-old event with this American Amber offering, providing a unique balance of fresh baked bread paired with sweet caramel and notes of pumpkin pie. I first enjoyed this right from the main taproom in Meredith and was quickly reminded of one of our 1009 favorites: the Boston Brick Red. Not soon after that first sip was I met with a sweet pumpkin rush and figured that I needed to take this home for further enjoyment. This ale then kept me warm in an otherwise brisk lakeside autumn afternoon. I would recommend this to any of my fellow Amber enthusiasts out there looking for a spooky October take.
