Another hefe offering and like most I cannot dig into the details on this one. Typicsl hefe style which is not a "go to" for me. This one might have had a more subtle hefe flavor/feel which did work for me.

Dating hard to read on the bottom lip of the can. Should be fresh.

It pours a cloudy orange with a small but long lasting head of foam.

Smells of orange zest, light cloves, banana, fairly typical of the style.

Taste follows the nose, again, a typical American brewed example of the style. I do see some floaties whether intentional or not. Somewhat off putting for me.

Good mouthfeel.

Average.

Btw,this can is 5.8% abv.

This looks good and has all the basic characteristics of a nice Hefeweizen, but there’s a bit too much metallic taste and I wish it had a little more lemon zest flavor. Good malty sweetness is balanced with biscuit, honey, mild spices and fresh cut grass. Light, crisp and easy to drink.
