Drawn from a tap, it arrived in a nearly full clear pint glass. There's almost no just-off-white head, as that's the way we pour beer in Philadelphia. It's bright and clear, amber in color. The aroma is exactly the combination of Pilsner Malt and hops expected. A German style Pils, but it brings a little more of that Czech-style bitterness than some. Also, it's not as sweet as others of its kind. All this is good and contributes to an enjoyable pint of beer. Although there's no glass lacing, the body seemed a little fuller than anticipated, again not a problem. Over, it's a very nicely made example of its category.

Poured into 6 ounce Stange

Look - white head, clear yellow, ample carbonation, heavy lacing

Smell - light bread

Taste - crisp biscuit, bitter aftertaste, slightly citrusy, more hop flavor than most pilsners

Feel - light body

Overall - outstanding Pilsner
