A resounding "pop" and the first of two wide mouthed pint cans is opened. The destination of their contents is a clear glass liter mug. They barely fit, as there's ample tightly knit white foam atop the liquid. That part is a very hazy orange-amber. A very nice dry hoppy aroma joins the visual and adds to the anticipation. Solid, first thought after the initial gulps. Good malt body just sweet enough to be detected in what is mostly a dry hopfest. It's only a little glass lacing following the ale to the bottom of the glass. Who cares? This is well past the visuals now. The hop flavor isn't overly any single character. There's a little citrus, a little dryness and a little bitterness. The aftertaste is clean, with barely any of the ABV coming through. All in all, a DDHIPA of very good quality.
