DATE: October 14, 2023... OCCASION: drying off after a tough-to-take tie for Joey's EDP team... GLASSWARE: Otto's dimpled mug... pours from a blue can displaying a roped-out lozenge the classic copper-toned body with microscopic bubbles that build a finger's worth of soft, white head--an autumn looker!... bright rye, caramel, buttered toast, and some herbal notes make for a pleasant, inviting aroma--not overpowering... medium-bodied, smooth, beautifully drinkable, pillowy-soft and savory at the finish.... its ABV is perfectly situated in its profile, a caramel and rye treat with pepper and herb notes that create a dimension to the expected marzen style... a nice balance, effective and appreciative...
