Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on June 16, 2019. The look and feel are spot on. Smell is dank hops with some pineapple and citrus notes. Taste is off for my palate.

Cloudy orange with tannish hues. Creamy lacing. Dank smell, mango, orange, malt, sweet vanilla/honey. Tangy orange and mango taste, slightly malty, slightly grassy. Light to medium body, dry finish, definite alcohol presence. Good, but not one of their better ones.

Dense and opaque orange, lasting foam and lacing around the edges.
Grapefruit peel and pale malt aroma, classic midwest style.

Fruit flavored vitamins, orange drink, cream of wheat, subdued orange peel bitterness lingers in the back. Slight tropical edge from the Vic Secret. Hop resin lingers. Medium bodied, pleasant feel. Typical NEIPA in that respect. Taste is a little artificial, but it’s good overall. Can’t say it’s really any better than the next local NEIPA.

Canned 6/12/19; drank the same day (!) @ the Yarchives.

Opaque dull orange appearance.

A violent pour yielded a huge eggshell head; frothy lace.

Orange citrus, cane sugar & dry grass notes in the nose.

Creamy, medium mouthfeel.

Orange peel & cream flavors up front; dry grass notes on the finish. No booze heat.

Perhaps a bit green less than a day after canning, but this is fruity, slightly dry, creamy & well balanced. Perhaps the best Phase Three IPA yet...

A: Opaque haze, deep gold, lingering white head, dole fruit juice
S: Sweet pineapple, mango, mixed fruit cup, sweet, dankness more pronounced as it warms
T: Sweet pineapple, tangerine, orange peel, dank hops, saturated hop bitterness as it warms, light alcohol
M: Medium mouthfeel with a smooth quality
O: Comes off as a very midwest/Chicago take on NEIPA. Sweet malt with a nice hop flavor that could be slight amped up. M-43 and Juicy Bits still reign supreme for my palate when compared to others in the Chicago market. Would like to try a ~6% hoppy beer from Phase 3.

Beautiful looking NEIPA that smells as good as you can hope. I love the thick mouthfeel. It has a bit of a bitterness that I really like for a NEIPA. I'm excited to try more Phase 3 and will look for this one again.

12 ounces in IPA glass

L : Hazy, thick orange/pineapple juice

S : some citrusy/passion fruit notes but nothing that jumps out

T : Citrus that is very nicely balanced with just a little bitterness

F : Nice velvety smooth feel with a little bite on the end

O- : The more I drink this one the more I like. The nose is a little lacking but the taste and feel of this one is pretty good. Overall its a very solid beer.

This was by far my favorite beer from Phase Three so far. Lots of ripe pineapple along with some grapefruit and passionfruit. It was dank but not overly so. A nice little bitterness at the end really made it. Very smooth mouthfeel.
