On The Vine is a DIPA that underwent a secondary fermentation with some beautiful California-grown Sauvignon Blanc grape juice. We paired the juice with two beautiful hops, Galaxy and one that actually derives it’s name from the juice used in this beer, Nelson Sauvin. Subtle wine characteristics mingle with a bright hop character to create what we think is a pretty unique experience.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Had 10/24/19
Pours a hazy yellow orange, with a two inch thick foamy head with great retention and lots of foamy lacing. Aromas of orange, light grapes, passion fruit, light malt, a little dank. Flavors of orange, passion fruit, some grapes, malt, some grapefruit, a light hop bitterness on the finish. Smooth, refreshing, semi dry, a solid lighter body, well carbonated.
It’s pretty straightforward, but bright and expressive aromas and flavors. The grape juice adds a nice compliment to the Galaxy hops. Very enjoyable.

Tasted in Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on October 18, 2019. Brewed with California Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Hopped with Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin.

Pours a yellow/pale orange with frothy foamy head and lacing. Smell is strong citrusy notes of pineapple, orange, mango, and white grape. Taste is citrusy, juicy, same notes as smell, a bit of tartness, a bit of sweetness. It’s full bodied, mouth watering, creamy, zesty, and actually warms well. Very enjoyable.

Super hazy yellow body with a white foam head, gorgeous. Smell stars grape must and bright orange hops with lychee and star fruit there in the background. Taste has more depth to the grape must bringing in some vinous elements, otherwise same as nose, maybe some mango and pear thrown in too. Feel is frothy, soft, with good hop and must textures. This was exactly what I hoped: a unique and fun combination of flavors in a well made dipa body.

Released 10/16/19; drank the same day!
Opaque orange/yellow appearance.
A violent pour yielded a huge off-white head; thick, frothy tree-rung lace.
Tangerine, white grape & mild fresh ganja notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Tangerine & white grape flavors up front; mild dry grass & faint booze heat notes on the finish.
Nicely balanced; flavorful, powerful but still easy to drink.
