16oz can poured into a snifter. Pours a murky dark purplish red color with off-white pinkish head. Brambleberries and vanilla on the nose. The palate features a tartness up front from the berries with a smooth creamy finish from the lactose and vanilla with some hip bitterness rounding things out.

Opaque purple with a pink cap. Smells of sugary vanilla with raspberry, boysenberry and I get a touch of elderberry too, with light hops. Berries and vanilla meld up front but nothing really pops, with the hops and more bitter berries in the second wave, before a final wave of booze leakage, berry yogurt and sugar. Feel is sugary, has some booze leakage and hops, slightly tart, not as refined as others in the series. More interesting than good, don't need to have again.

This beer is very hard to review because it messes with all of the sensory issues for the style.
Looks like a blueberry. Hate the way it looks! But I get it's a byproduct of the fruit.
Smell is berries, vanilla and some yoghurt.
Flavor follows. Slightly tart finish. Pretty good.
I'm all set splitting this one at 8oz though.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on November 22, 2019. Milkshake IPA brewed with vanilla, lactose, brambleberries and Mosaic hops. More tart than sweet.

This just isn't a good combination of flavors for this type of beer.

Released 11/19/19; drank same day (!) @ the Yarchives.
Opaque blood red appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big pink head; nice, frothy lace.
Raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, vanilla & mild orange citrus notes in the nose.
Soft, medium mouthfeel.
Raspberry, blackberry, vanilla & mild orange citrus flavors; a fruit lover's delight, with sweetness that isn't cloying.
Their best milkshake yet.
