First real P3 disappointment I've had. Booze surges to the forefront as it warms.

Served from the can in a Roaring Table shaker pint glass.
Aren't they all? This stuff pours a clear brass-amber topped by a finger or so of off-white foam. The nose comprises grapefruit peel, orange rind, a bit of pineapple rind, a hint of mint, and some honeyed biscuit for good measure. The taste follows suit, with the addition of some grass, some flowers, and a zip of dank onion in the very back. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda drying finish. Overall, a solid-enough IPA, nothing all that special, but definitely fine and rather easy to drink for its girth.

Pours a nice, big, fluffy white head on top of a slightly hazy, electric orange. Good amount of carbonation.
Wonderful citrus hop smell with orange, grapefruit, Carmel malt.
Good, bitter citrus hop with good spice balanced nicely with lighter malt. Slight pine resin on finish. Slight onion and garlic with candied grapefruit, orange and melon. Good example of west coast imperial.
Big mouthfeel out of this DIPA.

16oz can, undated but presumed to be fresh, poured into a stemless wine glass.
The beer pours a bright orange color, amber hues with a slight cloudiness and a tall, pillowy white head that has great retention and lacing. The aroma is nice, lots of grapefruit citrus, wildflower, raw honey, pale grain, mineral water and a nice piney and grassy aroma that brings out a strong earthiness. The flavors are good, bitter and crisp grapefruit peel, melon fruit, mango with a nice floral sweetness before the beer becomes amply earthy and the bitterness is accentuated by pine, hop spice, grassiness and a dank weediness while just a kiss of pale dough comes across. The mouthfeel is good, coating medium body, could use a bit more liveliness but the finishes has a nice dry bite.
Verdict: A good West Coast IPA from Phase Three. Certainly not reinventing the wheel here, but an enjoyable take on the style nonetheless.

Mostly clear orangey yellow body with a snow white head. Orange, grapefruit, lime, and pear aromas with pine hops in the nose. Taste is sweeter for a true west coast with the huge citrus, hops snap you back to reality though a touch resinous in the pine on the finish. It's quite tasty. Feel is sticky, medium bodied, pushes juice on the palate more than expected, finish could use come more hop definition. Pleasant in these hot days

Pours hazy gold with fluffy head and lacing. Slight bitter hops scent. Taste is bitter, a bit dank and grassy. Crisp, medium bodied, mouth watering, boozy burn on the back end. Interesting attempt at a West Coast style, but these guys definitely do the Northeast Style better.

Released 4/22/20; drank 4/24/20 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big white head; strong lace.
Orange citrus, caramel & pine notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Orange citrus, pine, mild baking soda, mild soap & faint fruit punch flavors. Mild booze heat emerged as this warmed.
Too much going on with some abrasive flavors; this is why the west coast IPA fell out of favor. Drinkable, though.
